Spanish 1120 and Spanish 1121, blended (hybrid) courses, will be a combination of face-to-face instruction and Bb online learning.  While in class I will provide you the support to practice the material you memorize at home.  I will use a communicative approach with performance-based activities so you are engaged in the lesson at home and on campus.

"SPN 1120 and SPN 1121 are 4-credit hour courses that meet two times each week (during a 16 week term) for a total of 4 hours per week or 64 hours per term." We will meet on the Central campus only on Thursday. Please understand that the course work is not limited to the time we meet in person. You must reserve time to complete the work you must do online to fulfill the contact hours.  See the syllabus posted in Bb for the specific time you must commit to succeed in this class.

Learning Outcomes

**The SPN 1000 is a custom made 3 hour course for those residents in the community who require a cursory knowledge of Spanish to help them communicate with Spanish speaking people. This course does not fulfill the language requirement.
